Really like this place, but - everytime no matter what day or time.... it should be called Pick Slow.
Heard this place was Seattle's version of in and out so of course I had to try! Came here on a Friday around 6:30 not knowing how busy it would be. They have a drive thru and walk-up order option but we chose the drive thru. Probably because it was a Friday but it took us almost 40 minutes to get through the drive thru. Fries were cold when we got it :( but burger was delicious. It tasted like if I were to make burgers at home. Simple, cheese was melted TO PERFECTION and the meat was very good quality. How does it compare to in and out? Burger wise, meat is better here, lettuce is better here and cheese is better here but buns are better at in and out. Fries are also better at in and out if you prefer more on the crispy side. I also like that you can customize the done-ness of your fries at in and out. Overall, decent burger option if you're missing CA. Oh and the shakes here are better but if you ask me, get the malt :)
Solid fast food choice. Burgers are made to order with lots of choices to individualize. Prices are very reasonable. This throwback to simpler times gets rated down for slow service, but since everything is made to order this should be expected.

The hunt for the best burger in Seattle continues because I'm afraid this ain't it. Pick-Quick still deserves 4 stars though for convenience, service, and, you know what, you pay for a cheap burger = you get a cheap burger. It's satisfying in that old-school, no-frills, drive-in way but doesn't blow me away or make me want to make the trip down to SODO again. I also grabbed a banana milkshake which was more vanilla than banana and the banana flavoring was super artificial. Overall, it's a good option if you're hungry and in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. There's a huge parking lot adjacent to it if you want to walk up and order or sit in your car and eat.
If you want that good old fashion, cook to order home made burger, fries, and shake. I recommend Pick-Quick here on 4th Ave! What I love about this pace is the food is always hot and fresh, the service is five star, and the place is very clean! Shout out to Ashton that works at this great establishment. He's one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. His customer service is impeccable! Keep doing a great job! That raise and a promotion is coming soon in your near future!!
Fast friendly service!! Delicious and honestly in my opinion reminds me a bit of in and out which I miss! We ordered single cheese burgers and 1/8 lb original hot dogs. Everything came out pretty quickly and we enjoyed it all. Definitely will be back soon!
